Driftline Snow Services

These Terms & Conditions outline the policies, expectations, and responsibilities associated with our snow plowing, snow removal, and ice management services. By booking or receiving service from Driftline Snow Services, you agree to the following:

Service Areas

We provide service in:
Londonderry, Derry, Windham, Bedford, and Salem, NH.

Weather & Storm Operations

Storm Monitoring

We monitor storms 24/7 using multiple weather sources to determine route timing and frequency.

Snow Depth Measurements

Snow totals are determined by local weather reports and average accumulation in your specific area.

Timing of Service

  • Residential properties are serviced after snowfall ends unless otherwise arranged.

  • Commercial and high-traffic properties may be serviced multiple times during a storm.

We cannot guarantee exact arrival times during storms.

Driveway & Property Requirements

Access

Customers must ensure:

  • Vehicles are moved prior to service

  • Driveways are clear of obstacles

  • Gates are unlocked if needed

If access is blocked, service may be skipped and full charges may still apply.

Obstacles

We are not responsible for damage to:

  • Unmarked curbs or lawn edges

  • Hidden objects (hoses, landscaping, extension cords, toys, etc.)

  • Protruding or raised asphalt

  • Loose gravel or pavers

  • Low or unmarked retaining walls

Customers must clearly mark property boundaries and hazards.

Snow Placement & Removal

Standard Plowing

Snow is pushed to the safest and most practical location on your property.

Limited Space Properties

If space is limited, additional charges may apply for:

  • Snow relocation

  • Snow hauling/removal

Ice Management

Limited Liability

Salt/ice melt reduces risk but does not guarantee ice-free surfaces.

Customer Responsibility

Customers should use caution on all winter surfaces and assume responsibility for additional ice melt applications if requested.

Pricing & Payments

Per-Storm Pricing

Charges vary depending on snowfall depth, property size, and service level.
Storms over 6 inches fall under extended-depth pricing.

Seasonal Contracts

Seasonal agreements include unlimited visits per storm.
A deposit is required to reserve route placement. The remaining balance is due on the agreed date.

Payment Due Dates

  • Per-storm services: payment due after each storm

  • Seasonal services: final payment due by contract terms

  • Late payments may incur service delays or suspension

Cancellations & Refunds

Per-Storm Service

Cancellations must be made 24 hours before an expected storm.

Seasonal Contracts

Seasonal contracts are non-refundable once the season begins.
Deposits are non-refundable as they reserve your route spot.

Damage Policy

Property Damage

If damage occurs directly from our equipment due to operator error, we will repair or reimburse accordingly.

Not covered:

  • Hidden/underground obstacles

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Unmarked property edges

  • Cracked or fragile pavement

  • Loose materials (gravel, pavers, etc.)

Vehicle Damage

We are not responsible for damage to vehicles left in driveways or for obstructing service.

Liability

Slip & Fall Liability

We are not liable for slip and fall incidents.
Customers should monitor and treat surfaces between visits.

Extreme Weather

During blizzards, ice storms, or severe conditions, delays may occur.
Service is performed as safely and quickly as conditions allow.

Communication

Customers will be notified through:

  • Text

  • Email

  • Phone (if needed)

We will communicate delays, storm plans, or route updates whenever possible.

Acceptance of Terms

By hiring Driftline Snow Services for plowing, removal, or ice management, the customer agrees to all Terms & Conditions listed above.
